We commemorated Chinese DuanWu / Dragon Boat Festival with a successful BBQ picnic and a few fun activities. We were really glad to see so many community members, friends, and colleagues joined us at the Moose Shelter at Detweiller Park for this traditional Chinese Festival. There were about 150 people attended this picnic. All of us enjoyed the delicious foods and wonderful activities for both adults and kids. The DuanWu Festival picnic has become an annual event that bond our community together more tightly, year after year. We would like to thank all participants who have attended the picnic.

As we all know that volunteers are the backbone behind all of our events, and this year is no exception. This picnic is only successful because of the great help from our volunteers. Volunteers helped planning the event, reserving the place, purchasing and preparing foods, grilling the meat, organizing the games and activities, and cleaning the place after the picnic. While it is not possible to have a completed list, we do want to thank the following volunteers for their great help this year. We also apologize as we may have missed some names as so many people have helped this event in so many ways.
